GripBeats® MIDI Patches

If you've seen any of our previous tutorial videos on MIDI Patches over the years then you'll know these used firmware versions named Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta respectively. These individual firmware files (or patches) allow GripBeats® to output MIDI in a specific way for e.g. patch Charlie allows you to switch between arpeggiated and block chords by triggering a specific acceleration threshold.

The Desktop Patches allow the GripBeats® device to stream raw data so that users can then connect their GripBeats® device to the GripBeats® Desktop App or their own software and change the parameters themselves. Users are advised to flash the "Desktop" patch first before flashing its enhanced version, "Desktop+", to avoid bricking the device.
